Welcome to 2012 to all swimmers.

We are also hoping to reinstate our early bird Wednesday swimming (5.30-
Aqua sessions

Fri 6-
These sessions cater for children who wish to swim in a training session within a competitive environment. Some no longer wish to compete in galas or may choose to do only a few, and wish to pursue interests such as triathlon, so these sessions cater for their needs, whilst still correcting strokes and encouraging stamina, fitness and fun.

Masters -
Masters On the 19th Feb a Valentines Meet and Sudbury Leisure Centre. This is a
open meet for ages 16-
Tuesday 3rd Jan, Fri 6th Jan and Mon 9th Jan, we will be doing timed swims for 50m and 100m swims this is optional. So come on guys lets beat the clock.
Mon 16th Jan we are having a Wet T-
February will see us looking at distance swims in the first week, all sessions will have an option to see how far you can swim in either 5,10,15,20 mins, choose your time and I will count the distance, badges and certificates will be available for those wishing to purchase.
March and April will see us looking at preparing for galas and Open water events, drills will be available for those who wish to follow that route and are optional. I am aware that in May some of you may wish to enter the Great London Swim so you may find these drills useful.
May it seems Summer could be on its way what better way to celebrate than a Beach

June, with the Olympics fast approaching swims will Olympic events and relays Speed
Awards-
July, another possible date for your diary Bury St Edmunds on the 8th to be confirmed. Also could your swimming skills be needed on holiday ? What every swimmer should know but I bet you don’t a fun end of season session with a twist.
In addition to our normal training, for those requiring it there will be indepth stroke analysis, please speak to me about this. If you require to work on any particular aspect of your stroke, or train for an event please let me know and I will do all I can to help.
For those of our Masters who are always interested in how far we swim, I will be logging the distance and as a group, or you may prefer to do it as an individual we will be swimming from the Sporting Village to the Olympic Venue via pools yet to be determined .
The aim being to complete by the start of the first Olympic Event.
